WASEDA DORM EMAILED ME!

Tonight I got this email from Waseda!!! I was feeling seriously down and stressed all week because I hadn't heard anything from Waseda in regards to my acceptance. It was seriously taking a toll on me, but that all changed when I heard my phone alert me that I got an email from Waseda Dorms in regards to my dorm accomadation!!

I went through all the details of the rules and regulations for the dorms. It's about 5 pages of guidlines and instructions. An interesting thing that I didn't know is that exchange students do not get to choose the dorms instead Waseda takes what you answered in the questionaire and places you in the best suited dorm for you.

I went through the questionaire already and the questions are pretty straight forward. The submission time opens on Thursday 4th Feb (2pm NZT) so I will be completing the questionaire and submitting it next week as soon as it opens because the dorms are done on a first-in-first-serve basis.

I also learnt that I have to be in Narita Airport in the afternoon on the Thursday 17th March! Which means I will be buying my one-way flight to Japan for Wednesday 16th March which is only 5 days after my 19th birthday. I don't know how I am going to function - I will literally be bursting with excitement.

The fact that this email came today means that my physical acceptance pack with the official acceptance letter will be arriving very soon which is exactly what I need. Because when that arrives I will be able to buy my flight ticket, insurance, visa and officially accept the scholarship(s) I have been offered.

I will make another post on this when I submit the actual quesitonaire (Thursday 4th of Feb) - I am so happy that this email arrived tonight because I was really upset and stressed. My spirits have really been lifted and this is becoming more and more real.
